With the European elections taking place on 22nd May it is important to get the message out that we are always better represented by Labour.
In order to make sure that as many people as possible know this, Labour placed a stall at the popular Friday market in Dovercourt High Street and Labour’s European candidate, Sandy Martin, was on hand alongside local Labour members to give out copies of Labour’s European Voice newspaper and to discuss issues with local people.
“It was great to see how many people approached Labour’s stall and how supportive they were,” said Sandy Martin. “People are clearly aware of the impact that local Labour councillors are having and it was nice to be able to introduce myself and explain how electing Labour councillors, MPs and MEPs results in better representation. At all levels Labour is the party with a positive message and the forthcoming European elections are the next opportunity to vote Labour.”
