The AGM of the Harwich and North Essex Constituency Labour Party was held at Harwich’s 1912 Centre on Monday evening.
The meeting was well attended and re elected Hugh Markem-Lee as constituency chairman with Robert Stretton and Michael Lillee being elected as vice chairs.
Ricky Foley and Maria Fowler become the constituency’s new secretary and membership secretary with John Ford re elected as constituency treasurer.
Hugh Markem-Lee says “In difficult times a strong voice is vital and the people of Harwich and North Essex are not getting that from the local Tories. Labour’s team will do everything possible to ensure that local needs are not ignored.”
