LABOUR COUNCILLORS AGAIN SUPPORT ’HARWICH IN BLOOM’
Harwich’s four Labour district councillors, Les Double, Lawrie Payne, Garry Calver and Dave McLeod, are again supporting ‘Harwich in Bloom’ through their personal small schemes budgets.
The four Labour councillors were the only Harwich based councillors to respond positively to last year’s request from the Harwich Society for financial support for this popular summer initiative, each making a grant of £200.
A similar request has been made to all seven Harwich based TDC councillors for this year’s ‘Harwich In Bloom’ and, once again, each Labour councillor is making a grant of £200 providing the scheme with a total of £800.
